Software Development Standards and Conventions

The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs adopted the current Programming Standards and Conventions (SAC) document in 1999. All WorldVistA software development will comply with this document, until WorldVistA extends it to create their own, more rigorous development standards.
