There following demonstration systems and videos are excellent tools for becoming familiar with WorldVistA EHR and its VistA foundation software.
VA VistA Demo
Description: This is virtual machine version of the online VA CPRS demo that has been kindly provided by the US Veterans Administration. The online demo can be found at the following link: http://www.ehealth.va.gov/EHEALTH/CPRS_Demo.asp.The demo provides a good example of a configured system containing anonymous patient data, and as such is an excellent teaching tool. Installation of the demo creates a self-contained virtual machine environment which runs a Linux/GTM server version of VistA on a MS Windows based computer.
