The Third VistA Technical Meeting will be held in from Feb 26th through March 1st , 2010
at:
Site: Sewall Conference Center, Robert Morris University, Moon Township Campus (Pittsburgh, PA)
Conference Dates: 2/26/2009 To 3/1/2009
This will be an open meeting for anyone who wishes to attend, with no
charge for attendees. No education classes will be provided, and this
will be a technical meeting, so would probably be a low value for
newbies and those who are not interested in a working meeting.
Attendees are expected to be able to develop/design/program in
VistA/FileMan/MUMPS as well as being at least familiar with other
skills such as Java/Eclipse, Delphi, .NET, Javascript and EWD and XML.
Experts in any of those skills are welcome.
We will assume that you
have already installed VistA on your laptops or other machines, and
will not expect to be involved in helping someone set up a system from
scratch.
We will continue work on the E-pharmacy, CCR/CCD, and GUI
interfaces for VistA.
The intent is that an in-person meeting (which
some call a “sprint”) will be effective in advancing the areas of VistA
which are most lacking, but which can be addressed in a short term
effort.
